Extruder Mini V2 - Handcranked

from £1,000.00

A compact, hand-cranked desktop machine for plastic extrusion and injection moulding. The Extruder Mini V2 uses a screw mechanism to force molten plastic through a nozzle or directly into a mould, with no compressor or air supply required. At 10 kg with a 15 x 24 x 50 cm footprint, it is the lightest machine in the SDS range.

The single PID-controlled heating zone reaches operating temperature in approximately 5 minutes and handles a wide range of thermoplastics: PLA, PETG, HDPE, ABS, PS, PP, and LDPE. For faster throughput, the drive shaft is drill-compatible. No hand cranking required for production runs.

Compatible with all SDS Premium Moulds using the screw-on nozzle system. For dedicated 3D printer filament production from PET bottles, see the Filament Maker.

Key Features

  • Hand-cranked or drill-compatible: flexible operation for low-volume work or faster production runs.
  • No compressor required: simpler setup than pneumatic machines, no air supply needed.
  • Screw-on mould mechanism: compatible with all SDS Premium Moulds with the screw nozzle.
  • Single PID heating zone: precise temperature control from ambient to 300°C.
  • Compact and portable: 15 x 24 x 50 cm (D x H x W), 10 kg. The lightest machine in the SDS range.
  • Supports 7 thermoplastics: PLA, PETG, HDPE, ABS, PS, PP, LDPE.
  • ~5 minute preheat: fast to operating temperature.
  • Fully powder coated frame: durable, workshop-ready finish.
  • Dual voltage: 110V (North America) or 220V (UK, EU, AU). Your country's plug is included.

Purchase Options

Kit: all parts, hardware, and a step-by-step digital assembly guide. Good for anyone who wants to understand the machine fully, or for educational and workshop settings.

Fully Built: assembled and tested before shipping. Some setup still required on arrival, with full instructions included.

Both options include a country-specific plug and ship globally via UPS Carbon Neutral shipping.
