Warranty & Returns

1. Warranty Coverage

  • Our machines are covered by a 12-month warranty from the date of delivery or 2,000 operating hours, whichever comes first.

  • The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

    Exclusions:
    This warranty does not cover:

  • Use of the machine not as intended.

  • Improper assembly, commissioning, operation and/or maintenance of the device.

  • Instructions in the Operating Instructions are not observed.

  • Unauthorised structural changes to the machine.

  • Unauthorised changes to programs that influence the control of the machine.

  • Improper monitoring of machine parts subject to wear.

  • Improperly done repairs.

  • Disasters caused by force majeure.

  • Influence of foreign bodies, e.g. stones, metal parts, etc.

  • Use of replacement parts and accessories that are not the original parts.

  • Modification to the machine in any way that isn't authorized by the manufacturer.

2. Your Statutory Rights (UK & EU Consumers)

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory consumer rights. In particular:

  • UK consumers have 30 days from delivery to reject faulty goods for a full refund.

  • After 30 days and within 6 months, faulty goods are entitled to repair or replacement. If this is not possible, a refund will be offered.

  • EU consumers retain similar rights under local consumer law.

3. Returns Policy – United Kingdom

  • Change of Mind (Cooling-Off Period):
    You may return your order within 14 days of delivery under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.

  • Refunds:
    Refunds will be made to the original payment method once items are inspected and approved.

  • Costs:
    The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs, but the original standard delivery charge will be refunded.

  • Exclusions:
    Custom Premium Moulds and other custom-made items cannot be returned unless faulty.

4. Returns Policy – International Orders

  • Cooling-Off Returns:
    You may return your order within 30 days of delivery (subject to local consumer laws).

  • Refunds:
    Refunds will be made to the original payment method once items are inspected and approved.

  • Costs:
    The buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs, customs duties, and taxes.

  • Exclusions:
    Custom Premium Moulds and other custom-made items cannot be returned unless faulty.

5. How to Make a Warranty Claim or Return

  • Contact us at contact@sustainabledesign.studio with your order details.

  • Pack the item securely, including proof of purchase.

  • We recommend using a tracked shipping method as we cannot accept liability for lost parcels.

6. Business Customers (B2B Purchases)

Cooling-off rights and certain consumer protections do not apply to business-to-business purchases. Returns and warranty claims for B2B transactions are handled strictly under our contractual terms.
