Warranty & Returns

1. Warranty Coverage
Our machines are covered by a 12-month warranty from the date of delivery or 2,000 operating hours, whichever comes first.
The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
Exclusions:
This warranty does not cover:
Use of the machine not as intended.
Improper assembly, commissioning, operation and/or maintenance of the device.
Instructions in the Operating Instructions are not observed.
Unauthorised structural changes to the machine.
Unauthorised changes to programs that influence the control of the machine.
Improper monitoring of machine parts subject to wear.
Improperly done repairs.
Disasters caused by force majeure.
Influence of foreign bodies, e.g. stones, metal parts, etc.
Use of replacement parts and accessories that are not the original parts.
Modification to the machine in any way that isn't authorized by the manufacturer.
2. Your Statutory Rights (UK & EU Consumers)
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory consumer rights. In particular:
UK consumers have 30 days from delivery to reject faulty goods for a full refund.
After 30 days and within 6 months, faulty goods are entitled to repair or replacement. If this is not possible, a refund will be offered.
EU consumers retain similar rights under local consumer law.
3. Returns Policy – United Kingdom
Change of Mind (Cooling-Off Period):
You may return your order within 14 days of delivery under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.Refunds:
Refunds will be made to the original payment method once items are inspected and approved.Costs:
The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs, but the original standard delivery charge will be refunded.Exclusions:
Custom Premium Moulds and other custom-made items cannot be returned unless faulty.
4. Returns Policy – International Orders
Cooling-Off Returns:
You may return your order within 30 days of delivery (subject to local consumer laws).Refunds:
Refunds will be made to the original payment method once items are inspected and approved.Costs:
The buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs, customs duties, and taxes.Exclusions:
Custom Premium Moulds and other custom-made items cannot be returned unless faulty.
5. How to Make a Warranty Claim or Return
Contact us at contact@sustainabledesign.studio with your order details.
Pack the item securely, including proof of purchase.
We recommend using a tracked shipping method as we cannot accept liability for lost parcels.
6. Business Customers (B2B Purchases)
Cooling-off rights and certain consumer protections do not apply to business-to-business purchases. Returns and warranty claims for B2B transactions are handled strictly under our contractual terms.
