Building your Bottle Cutter

Tools to complete your build:
Metric Allen Keys
Adjustable Spanner (or size 11mm)
PH0 Philips Screwdriver
Safety Gloves

Step 1

Two bolts being inserted into designated holes in a yellow plastic component against a green background.

You will need:
Base (x1)
M8 x 30mm Hex Bolt (x1)

Take the Base and insert the two M8x30mm Hex Bolts from the bottom.

Step 2

A yellow plastic component with two metal screws, a metal bracket above it, and an arrow pointing downward indicating where to insert the screws.

You will need:
Base Plate (x1)

Flip the Base back over and press the Base Plate into the cutout.

Step 3

A toy drill press with two black stepper motors attached to a yellow base, with two black parts above the motors, on a green background.

You may need:
1mm Spacer L (x1)
1mm Spacer R (x1)

Place the 1mm Spacer L and 1mm Spacer R over the bolts.
Ensure that you are placing the Spacers the correct way around using the image for reference.

Step 4

Close-up of a yellow and black mechanical component with bolts, placed on a green background, with white arrows indicating downward movement.

You will need:
8mm Spacer L (x1)
8mm Spacer R (x1)

Place on the 8mm Spacer L and 8mm Spacer R with the blade cutout facing upwards.

Step 5

A small electronic component with screws and a black and white label, mounted on a yellow base, with a green background.

You will need:
Utility Knife Balde (x1)

Place the Utility Knife Blade into the groves of the 8mm Spacers.
Ensure that the blade is set in the groves before moving on to the next step

Step 6

A small black and yellow electronic component with two black black parts labeled 'Top' and two white arrows indicating downward movement.

You will need:
Top Spacer L (x1)
Top Spacer R (x1)

Place the Top Spacer L and Top Spacer R over the bolts.

Step 7

Two nuts and two black spacers on a green surface, with white arrows pointing from the nuts to the spacers, likely demonstrating assembly steps.

You will need:
M8 Hex Nuts (x2)
Knobs (x2)

Insert the two M8 Hex Nuts into the two Knobs.

Step 8

Two black and yellow LEGO pieces with bolts and washers, arranged on a green background.

Screw the two Knobs onto the bolts. Ensure that the M8 Hex Nut is visible from the top.

Step 9

Electromechanical component with screws and black and yellow plastic parts on green background.

You will need:
4 x 25mm Wood Screw (x4)

Now is a good time to secure the Bottle Cutter down using the four 4x25mm Wood Screws.

Step 10

Close-up of a small mechanical assembly with two black components attached to yellow plastic parts, a screw above being inserted into a yellow mounting hole, on a green background.

You will need:
M8 Threaded Rod (x1)

Insert the M8 Threaded Rod into the Base

Step 11

A yellow capsule above a black and white cylindrical object with an arrow pointing downward from the capsule to the object.

You will need:
