The 3D Printed Insert Holder Mould is a precision machined aluminium frame that accepts custom 3D printed resin inserts, letting you create any shape you can design. Available in four sizes to suit a wide range of products, from small accessories to larger functional parts.

Variants / Sizes

  • Small: 30mm x 50mm x 50mm insert space. Best suited for small accessories, tokens, and jewellery.

  • Medium: 50mm x 75mm x 75mm insert space. A versatile mid range size for handles, cases, and small household items.

  • Large: 50mm x 100mm x 100mm insert space. Suited for larger functional parts and multi-component designs.

  • XLarge: 50mm x 150mm x 100mm insert space. The largest frame in the range, for bigger products and deeper parts.

Production at a Glance

Less than 2 minutes per cycle. Output depends on your insert design and the number of cavities you build into it.

The compatible plastic type depends on the resin used to print your inserts. Common options include PP, HDPE, LDPE, and PLA. Check our Resources page for guidance on resin and plastic compatibility. The Injection Mini Machine is the recommended machine for 3D printed inserts, as its precise pressure control helps protect the resin cavity during injection.
