Premium Mould #29 - Toy Brick Mould
A common rule of thumb in the plastics industry is: "The higher the quality of the mould, the higher the quality of the final product."
That's why we created our Premium Moulds range. These moulds are machined from solid Aluminium to ensure the highest quality surface finish and are designed specifically for the capabilities of our machines. They are the best choice for creating high detail, useful products from recycled plastic.
Turn recycled PP into interlocking construction bricks at desktop scale. Six cavities produce six bricks per shot: two 2x2, two 2x4, and two 2x5. The brick geometry is dimensionally matched to standard construction toy bricks, so parts clutch and stack with existing brick collections rather than sitting apart as a novelty.
Production at a Glance
6 bricks per full cycle (2x 2x2, 2x 2x4, 2x 2x5), less than 2 minutes per shot. Real throughput depends on your machine's plasticising rate.
Designed for workshops, classrooms, and anyone turning waste plastic into something people actually want to take home.
Perfect For
- Schools and makerspaces running plastic recycling workshops
- Museums, science centres, and sustainability exhibits needing a hands-on demonstration
- Community recycling initiatives producing a playable take-home product
- Toy and education brands exploring recycled-content product lines
- Precious Plastic workspaces looking for a high-appeal retail item
Precision Engineering
Part of the Premium Moulds range. CNC machined from solid 7075 aerospace grade aluminium alloy for superior strength, rapid heat dissipation, and consistent part quality. The surface finish is optimised for easy ejection without sticking, delivering a clean part every time. Designed specifically for SDS machines and rated for 10,000+ injection cycles with proper maintenance.
Why PP Only
Unlike most moulds in the Premium range, the Toy Brick Mould is specified for PP alone. Clutch power on an interlocking brick depends on a tight tolerance between stud and tube, which in turn depends on predictable shrinkage and stiffness in the moulded part. PP delivers this. Other plastics will fill the cavity but will not reliably produce bricks that grip, so the parts stack loosely or not at all. Run PP for usable bricks.
